You know what? November wasn’t the best month reading-wise. Nor health-wise, or work-wise.
It’s been such a busy month at work and with therapies, that I really struggled with balancing my priorities (health and me-time over work and socializing). And since reading is harder (requires more focus and no headaches) than watching tv-shows, I’ve seen more Criminal Minds this month than read books. But hey, I did make good on my promise to write more bookish posts this month 😉
Anyway, onto the wrap-up, and you’ll see!.

Everything You Should Know About Buddy Reads
Are you even really a bookworm if you don’t look at books when you see a random book market, even if you don’t speak the language? This is me at a book market in Bulgaria, two years ago.
Haul
I bought 12 books in October, so this month I decided to lay low and save my money for Christmas gifts (books, haha).
I almost bought Becoming by Michelle Obama, I decided to wait for the English paperback in January.
Personal highlights
- Ok, so work may have been crazyyyy this month, it’s also going really well. My team is happy with me, and I don’t get nearly as much anxiety about it as a couple of months ago. Plus, it makes me happy!
- The same goes for physical therapy. It exhausts me (that’s reason I usually do it in the afternoon) but it’s going so well we made my routine a little heavier two weeks ago.
- I also saw the other half of my family for the first time since the end of September! I can’t go to them by myself at the moment because public transport is too much, but we had a good talk and figured out how I can see them more often without having to use public transport.
- Harry Potter was released in Dutch 20 years ago! So there’s a pop-up store in the country, and a limited edition 20th-anniversary series, and I’ve decided to read the books again in the next two months.
How was your month?
